I think our wine house is a real highlight. What I especially like about it is the fact that materials from the vineyard have been incorporated in the interior design. And you see this as soon as you walk in: oak, sandstone and lots of light. That way, you some- how never lose that connection to the wine. The large windows on the facade allow you to always look out across the vineyards. It‘s like a kind of indoor vineyard at 212 metres above sea level. And it doesn‘t just look good, it also has a really pleasant and comfortable atmosphere.

I think I can speak for everyone here when I say that we really love working up here at the highest point on the German wine route! I love looking out of the window – if you stop for a moment and take a deep breath, it feels as if you are looking out across a sea of grapevines. The view from up here is amazing! Outside the grapes are hanging on the vines and in the cellar the wine is maturing. You feel a strong connection with the Pala- tinate region and with our wine. And I think our guests sense this too.
